5/9/2018 0 Comments End of A ChapterHello, and welcome back! It has been a hot minute since I've written a post. This is due to a lot of things such as life getting busy and forgetfulness. But have no fear because I have set a reminder to tell me to write, at least once a week.
So sophomore year of college was interesting to say the least. It was very stressful but I did end the year on the Dean's List. I made a big group of new friends who love me and are true friends. I also performed in both shows of the Cumberland's theatre season: Paragon Springs and Mousetrap. It was fantastic to perform in these with amazing casts. As I was doing all of this, with the classes I was taking, I was also expanding my interests into directing. Through this I have applied for a directing slot in the fall, so hopefully I will get one. I am also stage managing the show in the fall. This may seem all random and in a crazy order, but I figured if you read this blog you would like to know what all I've gotten into and what I'm getting into in the future. Speaking of the future, the most exciting news is that I'm leaving to study abroad in London, England for six weeks on the 15th of May. I am super excited, yet nervous, about this. I've always wanted to go to the U.K. and I finally get the chance to. While I am there I will be taking two theatre classes and going on a weekend trip to Paris! I will get to see the Mona Lisa and the Versailles among some of the awesome stuff planned. While I am over there I will be trying to make blog posts, that way I can look back on these and remember all the fun times I will hopefully have. As I am drawing this post to a close, you (the reader) might be curious about the title. Or you might not even care, but the reason behind the title is I have ended my second year (and hardest year) of college and only the bright future lies ahead for me and for everyone else. As long as you look on the bright side of things you can finally see the next chapter, and all the terrific things that await you in it. As Astrid S puts it, "There's always a party ending every day but also a new one being made. They are just chapters in our lives, ending and beginning."

about BloggingI will try to post a blog every week, if not every other day. It depends on what happens during the week/day, but I will post every week. It just that some weeks may seem boring, which is where I will blog about the week and then will provide an anecdote from my childhood. That's besides the point, I hope you enjoy reading!
