11/27/2016 0 Comments Thanksgiving 2016Thanksgiving should be about enjoying time with family, giving thanks for all that you have, and usually spent at one or two houses. That's not how my Thanksgiving went. I spent the first half of the week at my mom's house, 4 hours north form my school. Then on Wednesday I had to travel the 4 hours back south, then hop into my grandparents car and travel 4 more hours south to Alabama.
Then today, Sunday, I had to travel 4 hours back north, another 2 hours to drop my sister off to my mother, and finally another two hours back to my school. But it has been a day. However I unpacked and put up my Christmas tree in my dorm room, and I'm very pleased with how it turned out. I'll post a picture of it at the end. So besides traveling this week has been more of a chilled week. Oh! An couple of interesting things have happened. I saw Moana, the new Disney movie, at a drive-in! Yes they still exist and it was fantastic!! The movie itself was very good, and just seeing it at a drive-in made it a million times better. The other interesting thing was this guy that I had done a production of A Christmas Carol with last year, Facebook messaged me and now we are texting each other constantly. Maybe things will go further, but maybe not. Who knows, you just have to take some chances sometimes. I want it to go further, but we will see. Anyways, hope y'all have had plenty to eat and enjoyed Thanksgiving with your loved ones. Please share this blog with anyone you think will enjoy it, but if you want to give me advice or a comment on what you would like to see, please leave it below (in the comments) or on a form on the home page. Happy Holidays, and I will see y'all next week!!

11/19/2016 0 Comments The very beginningThis is the first blog. I'm going to try and either write a blog every Saturday or Sunday, but please be patient, cause college.
Anyways, just a little about myself and what I've did this week. I was born in Texas, but raised in northeast Kentucky. Now my hometown is small, and very, very rednecked. I hated high school, I was the smart kid who nobody liked except a select few nerds, theatre people, and music geeks. So, my senior year I received my golden ticket out of this town; a full-ride to a private school in southeast Kentucky. I said goodbye to my family, and went to school in August. Should be different right? Not really, sure I've made friends and am doing well, however the school is its own little bubble. But in this bubble my friends and I do stupid stuff, and laugh daily. This week is a prime example. On Monday, one of my friends has a crush on this boy. This boy invited her out to ice cream, but she didn't take the hint and said no. Then he invited her to his dorm (goes to a different school) to a dinner fixed by him, she said yes but is taking my other two friends with her. She is very naive, but I love her anyways. That's really not that funny, but at the time it was. Oh well! This week was actually a pretty chill week. I mean I could describe last weekend, but that's stories for later. I went home early (we don't get out for Thanksgiving break until Wednesday, but I'm skipping Monday and Tuesday), so it was more of a packing and getting ready to leave week for me. Anyways, hope you keeping reading! Leave a comment below or on the home page, tell me what you would like to read or know more about! Happy Thanksgiving! See you next Saturday!! |
about BloggingI will try to post a blog every week, if not every other day. It depends on what happens during the week/day, but I will post every week. It just that some weeks may seem boring, which is where I will blog about the week and then will provide an anecdote from my childhood. That's besides the point, I hope you enjoy reading!
